LUCULUS was nominated for the Nachlux-Light-Award 2001 [17 best from 178] and exhibited on the International Furniture Fair in Cologne, Germany.
LUCULUS is a light concept that invites the user for playful interaction and at the same time incites communicational processes. The decent table light becomes a ceremonial object that accompanies and signifies the different states (courses) of a meal. The new material used is a flexible »electrical illuminating» foil based on LED-technology. It supplies light transmission up to 650 Lumen.
The rectangular plane is divided in 5 squares and 8 triangles. Magnets stabilize the folded cube. A porcelain plug connects the illuminated plane to cable and power source.
For LUCULUS we are looking for a producer and marketer.
